Stephen Polglase

Stephen's family have mined around Tregonning and Godolphin hills for over 400 years. His rich knowledge of the history of our area has produced countless talks, lectures and books - including The Last Giants of Kernow, published for the GCCA in 2025. 

He sees his role, as one who has lived here all his life and talked with old men about the way of life long past, to pass that knowledge on to the local residents of today.
